1) Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education from IGNOU, 2001       

2) Passed the Teachership Examination from Government College of Art & Craft, Calcutta with 1st Class, 1971

3) Passed the Teachers’ Training Certificate Course in Art Appreciation from University of  Calcutta, with Distinction, 1969

4) Passed Diploma Examination in Drawing and Painting (Indian Style and Murals) from Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata with 1st Class, 1969

5) Passed B.A. Examination from University of Calcutta, 1974

6) Passed the Board of Secondary Examination, West Bengal, 1963
